【Buyer’s Note】1852年に生地メーカーとしてフランス北部ピカルディ地方で創設されたRODIERは、現在に至るまで170年以上続くブランドです。CHANELやDiorのオートクチュールに選ばれていた生地メーカーの一つで、既製服の時代に突入するとニットウェアを中心に、長年フランス人にとって完璧なワードローブを提供してきました。こちらは70年代の黒とサンドベージュ（ゴールドにもみえる）のテロんとしたシャツ。おそらくデッドストック品です。柔らかくさらりとした着心地と20年代のアールデコ風の主張しすぎないデコラティブ感が最高です。太陽光で見ると赤茶のべっ甲っぽい色のボタンがキラッ光りとします。細かな工夫と職人の技に歴史を感じ、長く愛用できるシャツです。
