This doesnt mean it wont perform well in those environments, though
When trolling in shallow depths (under six feet, for example,) I intentionally down-size lure weights (generally to a half-ounce or less) so the lures are not hitting the bottom
So without further ado, lets get to it
You might think that if you go too small, you cant handle big fish, but if you go too big, its going to be tough to cast all day, and smaller fish wont really be fun to fight
Clarification: If a hook is cut, then the length of the hook will be deemed to be to the cut anything beyond the cut will be deemed as leader
Not varying retrieve: Fish may want a slow, steady retrieve one day and a fast, erratic one the next
