They all have imprint of the US Navy anchor design on them (probably from being stored together for a long period of time)

There is documentation of the traggestell being used to carry the 8cm mortar barrel rather than using the barrel sling

Likely a civilian found them in a depot after the war and hoarded them away. These are basically untouched, I am the first person to take them out of the bundle since the war. There are some age related spots on them that look a bit like rust stains. They were probably stored in an attic for far too long. They still have a bit of a musty "old" smell
