I've returned to the subject to channel my inner street-cool kid from the Upper East Side (Lochee)…

but it still has a habit of feeling different each time I come back to it

Beach, 2 By the water I've returned to the subject20 x 20 cm I've always enjoyed the work of my old art college tutor, Alberto Morrocco (especially his paintings of families relaxing on some Mediterranean beach) and this painting is very much a nod in his direction. Like Alberto, Im giving the viewer an invitation to join in a lazy, sun baked day at the beach.
