The liner is reasonably nice, the felt pad has some mothing. The chin strap is complete, but not exactly flexible (I would not feel comfortable playing with it much). There are some patches of surface rust. It is stamped Brodie's steel helmet on the inside of the liner. I did not feel comfortable peeling back the felt to look for a rubber doughnut, but
