The inside paint is original. The outside seems to have been coated with some sort of brownish clear coat like a varnish or something. The Luftwaffe adler is not original. There are a few small spots where the coating is chipped and original paint can be seen underneath (like were the swastika used to be). I don't know if this could be saved in some way
