This beautiful art pottery vase is hand crafted with a narrowed neck

yellow and pink flowers bloom against a gently yellowed background while the centre of the items are white

all decorated in Royal Tudor Ware’s  ”blossom time” pattern

One of the hinges is missing the pin that holds it together and there is a tear in the white satin liner within (please see pictures)

In 1913, he was visited by King George V and Queen Mary, who gave royal license for Colclough to produce Royal Vale china. Due to the reputation that the company created for itself, the name was used well into the 1970s by successive companies. In the early 1930s, this particular range was growing rapidly, and they started to also produce tea and dinnerware that is still sought after
