Running Low, Deep Red Swirls and Fantasy Flowers Drapey Faux Silk Traditional Vintage Kimono Chirimen Crepe 14" x 61" #KK-171 Flower Shape True Oshima Tsumugi SilkFlowers, leaves and swirly tendrils in gray, turquoise, purple, taupe, gold and blue gray, on a deep brick red background. Quite silk like, but it's an excellent quality poly faux silk. We feel it's as drapey, flowy and supple as silk, with chirimen's classic drape, pebbly weave, quite textured, mid lightweight, with a dry hand and no shine. These vintage pieces were once part of a kimono, and are in excellent condition. From Japan, probably 1980's.
