Running Low, Dark Green Large Handpainted Czech Glass Button, 1-5/8", Susan Clarke #SC-885 E Pewter The back is mostly whiteHand painted and translucent, 1 5 8" diameter, slightly domed, and about 3 8" thick with the shank. Shank opening is around 2mm. Dark and intense emerald. Lacy Glass buttons such as these, are Susan Clark's Czech Glass buttons that are reverse painted in her California studio. She works in layers on the back and edge with specific colors, techniques and types of paint, in such a way that from the front, light reflects back through the color. It was a
