The manufacturer's logo is GOMZ State Optical & Mechanical Factory in Leningrad. GOMZ produced binoculars there in 1940 & 1941 but were eventually overrun by German forces and the entire factory moved to Kazan. The optics are not perfect, but are rather clear and very usable. There is some corrosion on the bridge pieces, but the two sides move
