G&CL 39 1L Medical Canteen box There is a small groupingOriginal 1 liter German medical canteen complete with strap, cup, cover, and canteen. The leather is intact and perhaps a bit dry, but I wasn't too afraid of opening the buckles, there is some cracking in the leather but I don't feel like anything was going to completely break. The cover is quite nice. The cap and canteen body are marked G&CL 39. The cup is an original polopas (Bakelite) cup. Over all, I would say that it could use a little cleaning
