The glass has a crack in it. It actually has a fair amount of wear. The leg support is ok, but it certainly could have been engineered better. There's looks to be 1944 carved on the bottom. Very interesting piece, I rather think it might be some sort of almost trench art piece although probably made by someone with skill in metal
