There is a darker line across the front and a few spots

Fairly rare to have three sons all serving in WWI

This style was used for various Wehrmacht equipment, and I even have one in my collection with a WH license plate number on it. This one seems to have a gray military color hiding under the brown paint. The color reminds me of a lot of pre war WWI equipment, that lighter gray color. A handy and difficult to find piece in usable condition.
