These are original WWII German equipment straps (they are not big enough for the mess kit)

however it is the same size box as stick and egg grenade fuses

The material is quite thin

The material has the same rayon blend material as the army ones. They are in decent condition, they do show wear and there are pulls and fuzz on the material. One sock has some loose stitching on the top by the stripes. The foot measures about 10" long. I really don't know what these socks are, but they are extremely similar
