there is a lot of rust on one side and some paint on the side and some dents and general wear

which is fairly common

There looks to be some glue residue

1945 Bakelite Container paper It was supposedly the worldsNice Bakelite container dated 1945. This is known to be both a charge container and also a thermos housing. I do not know which came first, the thermos or its military use as an additional charge container. It is in good condition but needs cleaned. Nice, sturdy container to keep stuff in. It is about 4" tall and 4. 5" in diameter.
