Naz Rug A slightly eccentric but harmoniousA 1930s Anatolian prayer kelim from Aydin in western Anatolia. The mihrab emerges subtly from the lively patterning and contains a tree of life. The colours are well matched in red, yellow, blue, grey, green and natural. A hole at the bottom end has been patched to the verso and there are some small surface marks but otherwise this is in rare good condition for a kilim of this age. 220 x 110cm
