I believe the folded trousers sucked up some water from one end at some point and when they dried it left a slight water stain shadow at either end of the wet area

Period German soup ladle which is a bit dented/deformed

It is deadstock and in very good condition

It is in usable condition

I have seen other examples dated to 1935

The pins are in good condition and the box is also pretty nice. Wartime and prewar safety pins are different than modern pins in that one side of the end is a solid piece (they did have the same modern style kind as well; but I only see this type made pre 1950s). Perfect for the detail oriented reenactor.
