and 7-8cm (3in) wide

This vase had a few imperfections (terracotta thumbprints of mine) that I really wanted to highlight so I used a glossy transparent glaze on the outside

and 10cm (4in) wide at the top

It was handmade on the wheel and then raku fired, which gives it a unique glaze and crackle pattern. I love this piece so much! The glaze colour, the application with the visible brushstroke, the tiny neck that allows to hold tall dry flowers This piece has a crack at the bottom. It's not water tight because of the raku firing however and the crack is hidden by
