Acer palmatum 'Manyo no sato' Variegated Japanese Maple yellow spring color 10 Year size: Height: 7-9Acer palmatum Manyo no sato is a wonderfully funky maple with the Japanese name that means "village of 10,000 leaves". Manyo no sato is very similar to 'Beni shien'. In early spring the irregularly shaped leaves emerge cream and purple. Leaves become more purple and green with cream before the purple starts to fade in summer. While fairly sun tolerant this cultivar prefers some shade in hotter climates. In more sun the red colors become more prominent
