Her fascination with color began while working for a Japanese cosmetic company, followed by a position at a photo studio. While living in Tokyo, Mai was inspired by the neon lit streets. She was also influenced by the Los Angels artists she met in her travels to the United States. As a woman, Mai wishes for all women to have
