but this style looks great laying down as a sculpture or place it in a cool cup or glass jar to really show off the whole piece too

I cut and sewed on 4 natural leather straps using leather scrap and cut and oiled a solid oak dowel to top off the natural feel of the whole piece

with a beautiful beveled edge

I've been holding onto this vintage piece for years and years waiting for the best piece to use it for and this was definitely the right one

there will be some nicks and scratches or patina that add to the history and charm of the pieces

Because they were trimmed off my Puffs, the scraps are fairly short and will most likely be best used to add to your yarn spinning projects. I have also used them for wet felting projects! Puffs have always been a way for me to incorporate vintage items with my modern fiber art which has been an adventure in giving old items
