A super little find is this rare slate writing tablet which is in really nice condition

This STOP arm repeater is in full tested working order and retains its original 1930s Ivorine number plate 62 and is the more ornate type with the classic signal finial at the top of the post

One can see that where is was on the instrument shelf it was difficult for the signalmen to be able to polish it all over

this badge has excellent colour and shine with no chips or restoration

The case diameter is 6" and the depth is 2 1/2" with an overall weight of 7 lb

Stamped clearly G. W. R. and 1 pint on underside. Appears to be in working order with no holes except where the oil goes in ! Brass slide in working order and the small locking catch to prevent the oil being accidently dispensed.
