The whistle measures 13" long with a diameter of  1 1/2" on the whistle tube

this plate is painted in a light blue with white lettering which the previous owner said he believed it came from a Great Central Railway joint Midland Railway box

The colour and shine is excellent condition, this sign is secured to a wooden supporting frame to prevent further damage. We can recommend John Wells of Walden Restorations who could restore this very old sign. The sign measures 91cms x 51 cms.
