A winner of the Jazz FM Digital Award and named 'One to watch' in The Guardian in 2025, his work has been championed by Gilles Peterson, BBC 1Xtra, and Jazz FM. Chiminyo is a residency holder at Ronnie Scott's, where he hosts the "Late Late Electronic" nights, and has collaborated with Mercury nominated artists
