This fine old British Railways Midland Region engineman`s oil feeder came from Bath Green park locomotive shed

This system was used in a small number of place of British Railways Western Region

From the base to the top of the rail head is 2 1/2"

9 1/2" x 3 3/4" diameter

Tyer`s wood case sign arm repeater was an experimental design which was most likely too expensive to produce , the white face is made from glass which was held in the brass frame as the images show. It could have been that electric lamps were to be fitted making it easier to view at night. We know of only one other example! This design is not in the Tyer`s instrument catalogue so they couldn't have produced many. This
