other trees and bushes in the area are engulfed in crystals from the freezing rain at Wildflower Park

The early morning sunlight brightens the flowers from the blue vervain plant at Wildflower Park

I wanted to get some close ups from the wildflowers along the trail

DANCING IN THE SNOW SNOWMOBILING The previous days I scoutedI arrived early in the morning near Salt Creek Falls to photograph the recent snow storm the Cascade Mountains had received. As I was snowshoeing along, I came upon this majestic scene of snow covered fir trees. Stopping me in my tracks, I gazed out into the wilderness in awe at how beautiful this scene was. (173 645)
