It goes well with appetizers, pasta dishes, game, meats and cheeses. Red flowers, myrtle, blackberries, marine scrub, pepper and animal accents are its salient features. Palate warm and almost impetuous, however compensated by adequate freshness and not at all hampered by tannins.
