All of her bowls are hand-crafted from clay using the pinch and coil method

The wood has patina and signs of wear from years of use

This bowl is part of an extremely special collection which took 8 years to curate. Each bowl has been hand carved from indigenous wood by women of the Turkana community in Kenya. Turkana bowls are known for their distinctive and unique shapes as well as their beautiful carving details, showcasing the artisanal wood working skills of the Turkana people.
