Flights of Fancy | JBW Designs Jesus 4" x 5" when stitchedDesigner's note: The lovely birds in Flights of Fancy were part of a large antique sampler which was purchased this past year. The colors are just a lovely combination of aquas, greens and golds. As an adaptation, I worked just one of the birds and mounted it on a round scalloped tag from The Bee Co. Stitch count: 144 W x 107 H (finished size is 8 x 6 on a 36ct fabric) The sampler is Italian and was stitched in the early 1800s on a 40ct linen in silk.
