Edith | Blue 63175 from pillows to curtainsBackdrops Los Angeles studio drew upon 19th and 20th century classical and neoclassical motifs found in Schumachers archive to create this eclectic design. Its whimsical, lyre playing cherubs are inspired by St. Claire Le Chateau, a vintage Schumacher fabric named for author Edith Whartons idyllic summer retreat, while stylized renderings of shells and jewels update the classic structure with surrealist charm and detail. Blending historical flourishes
