In my private photograph collection I have a picture taken in this box and it does show a Cow bell on the shelf which appears identical

additionally the face has "70 SIGNAL" painted on it and the whole instrument has a great patina

KETTERING ship-zone-j A Great Western Railway doubleThis lovely leather drivers satchel is indeed a rare survivor and scarce as most driver had "Grimsby" metal boxes. This one has a brass disc with the drivers name and depot " G. C. MARTIN, LOCO DEPT, KETTERING", the leather is in great condition and the shoulder strap although is useably we recommend some repairs to the leather is required due to some tears. This leather is embossed with a date of 1944.
