I come upon the dock with a great blue heron resting on the rails

I continued on along the trail at Wildflower Park where the early morning sun was still low to the horizon

this male wasn't moving to quickly as I take a series of photographs of him moving slowly towards the outer branches of the tree at Wildflower Park

As I make my way home from photographing in the park

I was looking for some good wildflower composition to photograph with the sunrise and came upon this scene of common milkweed in beautiful condition
