物心ついた頃から映画に夢中になり、1980年代アメリカを舞台にした映画の街並みに描かれたグラフィティーやスケートボードに衝撃を受け、自身もスケートボードとグラフィティーに夢中になる。そんなストリートカルチャーの次に夢中になったのが植物の世界で、これまで経験してきたストリートカルチャーをルーツに、ライフスタイルの中心となっている植物を融合させた作品を制作している。
