spectacular English Victorian large anchor needle case from chatelaine retro I had this piece castthis amazing anchor was part of a Victorian ladys chatelaine and is a needle case. It opens up and something, if not needles, was stored in it. The anchor also contains a cross and a heart symbolizing faith, love and charity. I converted it to a necklace by adding some more links to the chain that it was on originally. the chain closes with the original hook that attaches to a ring on the top of the key. the necklace measures 21 1 2 inches when worn.
