Victorian Scallop Heart Charm vintage but upon discovering his connectionA gorgeous Victorian heart charm inspired by sea. Its surface, front and back, has been worked to look like a scallop shell the symbol of Venus Aphrodite, the Greco Roman goddess of love and beauty, sex and desire while the pearl set star on the front is distinctly reminiscent of a starfish. It's crafted in 15 carat gold and dates from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880. Era: Victorian, circa 1880 Size: 19. 9mm (including bail) by 14. 5mm
