Antonio & Elio Monti Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Pignotto 2007 sku_2047023 our 2017 Whisky of theGranted DOCG status in 2007, the Montepulciano dAbruzzo Colline Teramane appellation comprises the hills around the province of Teramo, an area esteemed for wines that show concentration and intensity of fruit. Although the appellation allows for some Sangiovese in the wine, this wine is made from 100% Montepulciano sourced entirely from the Pignotto vineyard, which is named after a hill in the oldest section of the Monti family estate vineyards.
