I caught a glimpse of this pair of wolves moseying in my direction

which are thought to help shield their eyes from the glaring sun

An incredible experience with a pack of eight wolves. She sensed something was in her near vicinity, she just did not know what. Wolves rely heavily on their sense of smell and I was upwind of her. As I made my presence aware to her, she loped off toward her partner. They continued down the
