Edwardian Rock Crystal Cigarette Case cameos & intaglios It looks late 1930s toOpulent carved rock crystal cigarette case dating from the early 20th century, circa 1905. The case, comprising a hinged lid and main body, is carved from a single piece of rock crystal with delicate platinum clasp and hinges studded with diamonds and cabochon emeralds. A green cameo plaque depicting Cupid is mounted on the front. It's an outstanding object, with other similar examples attributed to Cartier and Faberge there are no discernible marks
