Small percentages of Cabernet Franc and Merlot are blended with the Cabernet Sauvignon before the wine is aged for 16 months. Hints of spice and cedar work well with hearty stews. This is a dull tannic red, earthy in dried herb, sage and a lasting note of clove. It is full bodied and presents as duly ripe.
