1890 Pearl Gills Ring necklaces presumably replacing an original pasteWeird and wonderful Victorian ring dating from the latter half of the 19th century. It's crafted in rose gold with a diagonal row of pearls traversing the head and strange, gill like engravings to either side (yes, gills like fishes). Two bright red paste gemstones close the effect, and clear Birmingham hallmarks date it to the year 1890. It's oddly futuristic in that way that Victorian pieces very occasionally are. Era: Victorian, 1890 Ring size: O 1
