Georgian Serpent Seal Fob stick pins The name is onomatopeicCool Georgian seal fob dating from the early 1800s. Two snakes coil around each other to form the fob's body, and the base is set with a purple paste intaglio that we're yet to decipher over here. An initial "L" in the middle is surrounded, orbited, by six "Ms". Is it a rebus puzzle? Does it commemorate six children male or each with an M given name? It's crafted in 15 carat gold and the goldwork is really quite excellent. Era: Georgian, circa 1820
