This artwork belongs to a series called "Atlas" that was made with dirt from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. This piece and its twin were made in the Sahara Desert, near by the town Merzouga in south Morocco, where I stayed for a total of 25 days with my desert family, the Sahara Garden.
