The area of the vineyards is 1,200 ha. of which the best 200 ha. were selected on the basis of soil, orientation, yield and grape type to obtain the best quality for this range of Caldora wines. The majority of these plantations are located within the Ortona area in an ideal microclimate between the Adriatic coast and the 3000 meter high Mount
