Installation requires a 1 1 32" diameter hole drilled through the gate for the brass lock cylinder. Throw of the square lock bolt is 2 5 8". Lock is reversible, works on left hand opening and right hand opening gates. Includes lock, strike plate, 5 keys, mounting screws and a round brass trim plate which fits over the brass lock
