I was told the trays were once used for egg incubation and love that they lived an entirely different life before I discovered them

It really does come in waves

We used our own abstract weaving technique at the top in a mix of light cream colors and multiple layers of fringe to add a lot interest to a simple but detailed piece

It is a full circle moment:  I choose my materials very carefully and thoughtfully and I save all my scraps for "just in case" moments

Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch. Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames like this amazing folk art bird!
