The longer B4. 1 shock shafts give you better performance over long mains, taking a bit of oil volume out of the shock and letting the piston sit higher up in the body for added pack compression on fast hits. These 2 changes give the car a small increase in pack at the top of the stroke, and helps prevent the oil from heating up and "blowing thru" the stroke in longer runs.
